Well Jiri Kripac...affectionately known as "The Bouncing Czech" is at Club Ashfield leading the Bridge City Jazz Band on trumpet this coming Friday 17th October 2014 with Kym Till on piano and Craig Lee on drums all complementing the BCJB regulars...Colin Beal on reeds; Colin Davies on double bass, John Bates on trombone and myself Dennis Quinlan on banjo...
With the changing special guests joining the BCJB, while still firmly a traditional jazz band, the style changes and makes for interesting listening and we are a great band to dance to....
Club Ashfield...5 Charlotte Street, Ashfield beside the Ashfield Railway Station on the northern/Parramatta Road side with the gig on the first floor in the bistro/function area, starting at 7.30pm through to 10.30pm and admission is free.
The Club restaurant sells great food....
Hope to see you there....
